This series comprise the same accounts found in your grandmother's bible. The difference is that they are replete with images and imagery of the Caribbean and written in the cadence of the Caribbean. These stories make the connection between the Bible and people of color everywhere today.
They are written in part to refute the suggestion that Christianity is the White man's religion and to assure children that whatever the color of their skin, whatever the texture of their hair, whatever the rhythm of their language, they were a part of God's plan since the beginning of creation, because the God of this big, big world is the God of the Bible and their God also.
In this first of the series, " Adam and Eve Make a Big, Big Mistake" children will see Salvation Plan unfolding and culminating in this great, big God of the universe making himself into a tiny baby and becoming the familiar figure they know as Jesus
